Abstract

The purpose of this study were to (1) identify the condition of human capital, natural capital, social capital, financial capital and physical capital of farmer of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin Regency, (2) calculate total farmer household income of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin Regency, (3) analyze the correlation between human capital, natural capital, social capital, financial capital and physical capital and total farmer household income of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin Regency. The study was conducted at Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict of Banyuasin Regency. The method use in research was survey method, simple random sampling technique has been used as a method for taking sample for this research with total sample were 35 farmer of 170 farmer of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin Regency The result showed that the total index value of capital consisting of human capital, natural capital, social capital, financial capital and physical capital of farmer of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin Regency are at high criteria with total index value of 0.75. The average of total household income that received of farmer of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village was Rp57.803.609 per year, which total farmer income of certified rice seed producer was Rp36.909.171 per year, the average of farmer income besides of certified rice seed producer was Rp Rp12.217.295 per year, and for non-farm was Rp3.562.857 per year and the average of family member income was Rp 5.114.286 per year. There is a positive correlation between natural resource capital, social capital and financial capital with total farmer household income of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village. There is a positive correlation between natural resource capital and financial capital with total farmer household income of certified rice seed producer in Sako Village.
