Abstract
The objectives of this research are how to use Iuran dan Dana Peremajaan Tanaman Perkebunan (IDAPERTA-Bun) palm oil program, to identify factors influence and advantage farmer to joint IDAPERTA-Bun program. The data collecting are conducted in Mei 2005 where the research is done in Tanjung Agung Utara village Lais district Musi Banyuasin. The research is done by survey method, and sampling technique is disproporsionate stratified random sampling. The result of this research show that the Program IDAPERTA-Bun in Tanjung Agung Utara village began in 1995/1996 had been relating with PTP Nusantara VII (Persero) Talang Sawit. The factors that influence the farmers to joint IDAPERTA-Bun program are age and income, but education, experience and extension frequency are not. The participant get two benefit of IDAPERTA-Bun program. The farmers get replanting fund forestry at the end of the insurance has been deal before, if the farmers joint the program, they will get money form insurance.
