Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of film documenter learning media on students' learning motivation in PPKn subjects at SMP 2 Lahat. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The population in this study were all class VII of Lahat State Junior High School 2 which amounted to 224 with purposive sampling technique so that it was obtained class VII.G as an experimental class of 32 students. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques, observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is one t test sample test. From this study it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of the application offilm documenter on student learning motivation. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing in getting value or (sig 2-tailed) which is equal to 0.200> 0.05 (α) which means the sig value ( 2-tailed)> 0.05 so that the conclusions of the working hypothesis (Ha) are obtained, that is, on the significant effect of the application on student learning motivation in the PPKn course at SMP 2 Lahat.
