Abstract

The title of this research is Management of Filial School Program for protege students at Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Klas I Palembang in 2017. The background of this research is the minimality of Filial School facilities, and the lack of discipline of teaching staff and the sense of awareness of Andikpas itself. This study aims to identify the causes of Program Filial School For Andikpas at LPKA Klas I Palembang in 2017 has not been managed properly. The type of research used qualitative methods with data collection techniques namely documentation, interviews, and observation. This study uses educational management theory by Sutjipto, et al. The result of the research shows that the cause of the filial school program for Andikpas has not been well managed due to the thoughts and minds of LPKA and the respective principals that can be seen in the planning dimension, determining the means that the determination is not appropriate because the textbook needed intentionally not budgeted by the LPKA. In the direction dimension in the implementation of orientation and coordination dimension in the briefing and work meeting both parties are not implemented because it is considered not an obligation that must be implemented and the lack of free time between the two parties to implement. While in the dimensions of planning, in the adjustment of curriculum, data collection of prospective learners, and preparation of teachers has been well managed. In the organizing dimension in the division of tasks, responsibilities and authority and financing dimensions, the source of the budget has been well known and the realization of the budget has been well managed. In the assessment dimension, the students' academic achievement and motivation to the teachers, staff, and learners have been given in accordance with the prevailing regulations. For that to the Head of LPKA Klas I Palembang and each principal of the parent school to be more committed in doing the cooperation in order to achieve maximum success in providing educational rights to Andikpas.
