Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis pendekatan pemodelan matematika yang valid dan praktis serta untuk mengetahui efek potensial penggunaan LKS pada materi aritmetika sosial di kelas VII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (depelopment research). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 13 Palembang tahun ajaran 2017/1018 yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan walkthrough, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan LKS berbasis pendekatan pemodelan yang valid dan praktis. Valid berdasarkan konten, konstruk dan bahasa setelah melalui tahap pengembangan, yaitu tahap expert review dan one-to-one. Praktis terlihat dari hasil uji coba small group. (2) LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki efek potensial terhadap kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa.
