Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Intensitas Penggunaan Smartphone Terhadap Perilaku Individualis Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Sriwijaya”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan unit analisisnya adalah mahasiswa FISIP Unsri. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, dengan sampel 96 mahasiswa yang didapat dengan menggunakan teknik Taro Yamane atau Slovin dan Teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data dianalisis melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden dan dianalisis uji realibilitas dan uji validitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat kuat antara intensitas penggunaan smartphone terhadap perilaku mahasiswa FISIP Unsri, hal ini sesuai dengan hasil uji Rank Spearman yang telah dilakukan dengan bantuan program MS. Excel sesuai dengan hasil perhitungan x² hitung sebesar 0,964.
