Abstract
The purpose of this study is to produce web-based learning media for students to be able to understand history lessons, especially about the history of Indonesian independence. The development of Canva-based learning media on the history of Indonesian independence, based on learning that only uses one type of media, this makes students saturated. Methods: This research is a research development (Research and Development). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang on September 20, 2022. This media was developed using the Canva editor application with a type of media in the form of audio-visual which is then uploaded on the Rumah Belajar Portal page. As for the validation test conducted by expert validators, it shows very good assessment results, that way this learning media is declared worthy of being tested on students. The results of trials conducted on learners showed an increase in motivation and excellent learning outcomes.
