Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam Tbk, Tanjung Enim mining Unit is one of the coal exporting companies in Indonesia and Asia. PT. Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim Mining Unit has a program of hazard identification and risk assessment (IBPR) which is a reference in identifying potential hazards in the workplace. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of hazard control in PT. Bukit Asam Tbk, Tanjung Enim mining Unit. This method of study uses descriptive analytic conducted by field observation, interviews, and document study. This research compares the implementation of hazard control in PT. Bukit Asam Tbk, Tanjung Enim mining Unit with KEPMEN ESDM RI NO. 1827/K/30/MEN/2018. The variables in this study did not all conform to comparative regulations. An unsuitable variable is on the creation of IBPR, evaluation of induction results on occupational safety programs and evaluation of occupational disease examinations. While the appropriate variables are risk identification, routine induction of occupational safety, education and training programs, campaigns, emergency management, inspection of accident investigations and incident hazards, ergonomics, food management and and measurement of working environment. In danger control is implemented fairly well, although there are many obstacles in the implementation. Elimination control is done by dust watering and aperture closure. Substitution control with dry system switching to wet system. Control engineering by modifying work equipment. Administrative control is work shift, health check, campaign, work procedure. APD control by providing 27 APD items. Therefore, it is necessary to make improvements to variables that are not yet in accordance with the way the company provides training to workers in every work unit in the manufacture of IBPR, more consistently in the implementation of the induction and monitoring of cases of Golden Rules.
