Abstract

Craftsmen Songket Hj. Cek Onah Palembang is one of the handicraft of songket weaving which has not applied the strategy in the process of selling and marketing the product so that decreasing the power of daylight between songket craftsmen. In order to improve competitiveness among entrepreneurs songket then made Up- Selling and Cross-Selling strategy on selling process Songket Hj. Cek Onah Palembang. This strategy was built based on the method of waterfall system development according to Sommerville (2011) with the notation of Context Diagram, DFD, ERD, and programming languages are PHP and MySQL as DBMS. The results of the analysis, Selling System with Up-Selling and Cross-Selling Strategy have some bennefits, such as supporting the online selling process, offering Cross-Selling and Up-Selling products, providing latest product information via email and granting and also exchange points to customers who have made a purchase. In addition, this system also produces several reports including transaction reports, product reports, and customer reports that facilitate owner on doing evaluation to apply selling strategy to the following months.
