Abstract
Flooding is one of the destructive foree of water. It is a natural phenomenon, high rainfall, water tides and insufficient capacity of water bodies (streams or drainage channels) to collect and drain water. Shallow water tides are very important to improve accuracy of tidal predietions. It is used by port interest, sea transportation, Coastal engineering, etc. The purpose of this transeription research to develop altemative Seilincah River flood control efforts are structurally. So that the impaet of losses due to floods can be minimilization. In determining the altemative response to the hydraulicanalysis was performed using the modeling Software HEC RAS 4.1.0. The results shows to make flood control system ( pump ), Seilincah need 34 pumps; capacity 5.500 liters/minute for Q2 and Q10 The maximum value for hydrology depth are 1,8 m for Q2 and 1,81 m for Qj0 and cumulative volume of water from the downstream are 840.660 m3/hour for Q2 and 841 .OOOm3 /hour for Q10. Flow area, total area of cross seetion active flow for Q2 are 1642,96 m2 and for Q,0are 1644,54 m2. For mapping this flood area was performed with RAS MAPPER and SAGA
