Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Local Government Expenditure and Labor Force simultaneously on the Human Development Index (HDI) of Districts/Municipalities in South Sumatra Province, to analyze the effect of Local Government Expenditure on the Human Development Index (HDI) of Districts/Municipalities in South Sumatra Province, and to analyze the Effect of the Labor Force on the Human Development Index (HDI) of Districts/Municipalities in South Sumatra Province. The data used in this study used secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2011-2021. The analysis technique used uses multiple linear regression. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between Local Government Expenditure and the Labor Force simultaneously to the District/City Human Development Index (HDI) in South Sumatra Province, a positive and significant relationship between Local Government Expenditure to the District/City Human Development Index (HDI) in South Sumatra Province, and a positive but not significant relationship between the Labor Force to the District/City Human Development Index (HDI) in South Sumatra Province.
