Abstract

Salah satu penyebab rendahnya produktivitas jagung adanya serangan hama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman musuh alami serangga hama pada perkebunan jagung Indralaya Ogan Ilir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2022 sampai Juli 2023 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Untuk koleksi serangga musuh alami menggunakan pitfall trap, perangkap jaring ayun, dan hand sorting. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 18 spesies serangga predator dari 5 famili di antaranya; famili Coleoptera 53 ekor, famili Diptera 12 ekor, famili Hemiptera 13 ekor, famili Hymenoptera 16 ekor, famili Odonata 49 ekor dan 8 spesies serangga hama dari 4 famili di antaranya; famili Blattodea 8 ekor, famili Coleoptera 15 ekor, famili Diptera 15 ekor, famili Orthopera 22 ekor. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai Iindeks keanekaragaman (H’) dengan nilai 3,27 (kategori tinggi), indeks kekayaan jenis (Dmg) dengan nilai 5,2 (kategori tinggi), dan kemerataan jenis (E) dengan nilai 0,97 (kategori rendah). Hal tersebut menunjukan tingkat keanekaragaman tinggi, kekayaan jenis tinggi dan kemerataan yang sedang. Hasil penelitian ini disumbangkan dalam bentuk LKPD pada KD 3.10 tentang ekosistem dan semua interaksi yang berlangsung di dalamnya.
