Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara literasi kesehatan mental dengan distres psikologis pada mahasiswa. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara literasi kesehatan mental dengan distres psikologis pada mahasiswa. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 361 mahasiswa aktif S1 Universitas Sriwijaya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel distres psikologis adalah General Health Questionnaire-12 (GHQ-12) yang diadaptasi ke Bahasa Indonesia oleh Idaiani dan Suhardi (2006), sedangkan alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel litersi kesehatan mental adalah Mental Health Literacy Questionnaire in Young Adult (MHLq-YA) yang diadaptasi ke Bahasa Indonesia oleh Campos, Diaz, Costa, … & Yu (2022). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi pearson’s product moment. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan nilai R square sebesar 0,122 dengan nilai p = 0,021 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara literasi kesehatan mental dengan distres psikologis. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima.
