Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of microorganism local in banana which isapplied through leaves and soil to increasing the growth and yield of watermelon plants. This research wascon ducted from October to December 2021 at the Sriwijaya University research area. The study used a randomized blockdesign consisting of 9 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments in this studywere control (M0), 30 ml Poce given twice a week through the soil (M1), 50 ml, Poce given daily through the leaves (M2), 80 ml Poce given three times a weekthrough the soil (M3), 20 ml Poces given five times a week through the leaves (M4), 100 ml Poces given weekly through the soil (M5), 10 ml Poces given daily through the leaves (M6), 150 ml Poces given once a week through the soil (M7 ), 300 ml Poce given twice a week through the leaves (M8). The results of this study indicate that all observed variables have no significant effect.
