Abstract
The problem of waste in the environment is increasingly complex and is the focus of attention from various experts. Human activities produce exhaust emissions that can damage the environmental ecosystem. This is a waste emission from the process, use, and manufacture of conventional technology. This issue becomes even more serious if there is no awareness from humans about the side effects of the activities and technology used. Recycle Park was built with the aim of being a place for information related to waste, recycling, and the environment which is manifested in the function of a gallery space. In addition to providing information through galleries, the Recycle Park also provides direct experience of the recycling process which is embodied in the workshop space, so that tours within the building can provide first-hand experience of how the process and products of recycled materials are. The Recycle Park building also uses the concept of reuseable materials in some of its elements. Use of used and recycled materials such as recycled timber, plastic bricks, and recycled floor materials. The use of used and recycled materials will provide a different space experience for visitors while enjoying the building. On land with moderately contoured geography, the split level concept is a response to the contoured land on the site, so that the building can maintain the contour shape. Thus, the building will get a maximum view of the contours, sufficient natural ventilation, and produce buildings that are rhythmic with the contours.
