Abstract

This thesis is titled "Analysis of the High Level of Factors for Increasing Divorce in the Legal Region of Palembang 1A Class Court". the increasing number of divorce cases from year to year, especially cases of divorce, is a serious problem if related to the purpose of marriage. the increasing cases of divorce in Class 1A Religious Courts therefore the authors examine the factors causing the high level of divorce in the Legal Region of the Class 1A Religious Courts of Palembang. The results showed that the background of the high level of divorce is due to many factors, including low economic factors, lack of husband responsibility, third person factors, polygamy, no harmony and moral crises that cause quarrels and ongoing disputes between husband and a wife who causes the wife to divorce the husband.
