Abstract
The large number of activities at the Palembang Taqwa Grand Mosque, especially for carrying out worship activities, requires sufficient water for purification needs. The water available in the water tank at the Great Mosque of Taqwa Palembang must always be monitored for the volume of water in the water tank. This research discusses how to measure water temperature using an IoT-based smartphone by detecting the water level in the water tank using the Ultrasonic HCSR04 sensor and monitoring the water temperature with the DS18B20 temperature sensor. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, this study shows that the water volume and temperature monitoring system can work well and can help facilitate the task of mosque administrators in monitoring the temperature and volume of water in the water tank.
