Abstract
Lebak swampland is land that has a distinctive character with the presence of standing water for quite a long period. Inundation conditions in lebak swamps will affect the level of soil fertility, physical, chemical and biological. Swamp land has great potential and opportunities for farming business development. This study aims to study the results of soil analysis in the laboratory and use the Swamp Soil Test Tool (PUTR) to determine fertilizer recommendations for rice plants. This research was carried out in January 2023 on an area of 20 Ha of Rawa Lebak in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study used the survey method with 1:5000, soil sampling using the grid method with a soil depth of 0-30 cm. Soil samples were taken from 5 drilling points, each one sample representing 5 Ha, then a direct soil test was carried out using the Swamp Soil Test Tool (PUTR). Then a soil test was carried out in the laboratory to find out the right fertilization recommendations, and to calculate nutrient requirements in the form of doses of urea, SP-36, and KCl fertilizers. Fertilization recommendations using the Swamp Soil Test Kit (PUTR) obtained an average dose of urea fertilizer with an average of 200 kg ha-1, 125 kg ha-1 SP-36 fertilizer, and 105 kg ha-1 KCl fertilizer. Fertilizer recommendations based on soil tests in the laboratory obtained the highest dose of urea fertilizer 141.9 kg ha-1, SP-36 fertilizer 373.2 kg ha-1, and 196.81 kg ha-1 KCl fertilizer.
