Abstract

Agro-industry is an industry whose main business is from agricultural products. The aims of this study were: (1) to analyze the financial feasibility of Mrs. Bobot's nipa woven crafts in Kelurahan 3-4 Ulu, Seberang Ulu 1 District, Palembang City, (2) to analyze the profits of Mrs. Bobot obtained from the nipa woven handicraft home industry in Kelurahan 3 -4 Ulu, Seberang Ulu 1 District, Palembang City, (3) To find out the average income of nipa palm craftsmen working in Ibu Bobot's craft business for 1 year. Analysis of the business and financial feasibility of Mrs. Bobot's nipa woven crafts aims to determine the business and financial feasibility of nipa woven crafts through several calculations. To calculate the analysis of investment criteria, several analytical methods are used, namely by using the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Gross Benefit Cost Ratio (Gross B/C) , Payback Period. Then to analyze the profits of Mrs. Bobot obtained from the nipa woven business, it starts with calculating production costs from income. After that, calculate the number of receipts, and after getting the results of the calculation of receipts, then look for the profit of each nipa woven craftsman. From some of these methods the results show that Mrs. Bobot's nipah woven craft in Kelurahan 3-4 Ulu, Seberang Ulu District 1 Palembang City is feasible to run financially and is profitable for business owners but from one of the calculation methods the Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) stated that Ibu Bobot's nipah woven crafts in Kelurahan 3-4 Ulu, Seberang Ulu District 1, Palembang City, were not financially feasible and unprofitable for business owners because the value of the Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) was less than 1.
