Abstract

Providing stimulus can be by means of exercises and activities provided by parents. Children who receive targeted stimulation will develop faster than children who receive less or even no stimulation. This research uses a type of quantitative descriptive research. Based on the thorough data analysis, it can be concluded that the Stimulation of Activity Material Measurement for Children Aged (5-6) years in Alang-Alang Lebar District, Palembang City, is 73.74% or is in the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) category. Meanwhile, the stimulation given by parents to children during the learning period from home due to Covid-19 was 73.74%, which means Developing According to Expectations (BSH). To further stimulate and teach and provide information about measurement material, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, where many children have not yet developed and are starting to develop. So that parents should pay more attention to the growth and development of children's knowledge.
