Abstract

This research discusses the "Relationship of Peer Social Support with Academic Achievement of Junior High School Adolescents in Aisyiyah Orphanage in Prabumulih" using both quantitative and qualitative research methods (mixed method), namely research by combing earch by combia ng two existing research.the design used is explanatory sequential. The population in this study consists of 46 adolescents from the Aisyiyah Orphanage who are currently attending Junior High School, with a sample size of 30 adolescents. Data collection was done through a questionnaire method using a Likert scale with five response criteria. The research results indicate that peer social support has a significant relationship with academic achievement among adolescents in the orphanage, as shown by the Pearson product-moment correlation test with an obtained r value of 0.438> 0.361 r table.
