Abstract

This study is entitled "The Role of Interpersonal Communication Between Prison Officers and Inmates in Forming Positive Attitudes" The purpose of the research that has been conducted is to determine he role of interpersonal communication berween prison afficers and prisoners in forming positive aititudes towards prisoners and 10 determine the supporting factors and barriers of interpersonal communication faced hy prison officers in Sorming positive altitudes towards prisoners. The research method used in his study is descriptive gualitative method. The data collection process is carried out using in-depih interview technigues, observation and documeniation. The result of ihis study is that the supporting factor in coaching according 10 the Ihree coaches interviewed is formed from the fostered residenis themselves, because when the fostered residenis can receive well all the learning provided during coaching, it is casier
