Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of working capital management and intellectual capital on the performance of companies in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) both before and during the Covid-19 period. The study utilizes panel data consisting of financial reports from 21 sample companies in the food and beverage sector, obtained from the official Indonesia Stock Exchange website for the period of 2017-2022. The analytical method employed in this research is panel data regression analysis using Stata 17 statistical software. The research findings indicate that DPO only shows a positive and significant influence on ROA before Covid-19. On the other hand, DSO exhibits a negative and significant influence on ROA both before and during Covid-19. Additionally, HCE and SCE show positive and significant effects on ROA, both before and during Covid-19. Furthermore, HCE, SCE, and CEE have a positive and significant impact on ROE both before and during Covid-19. Lastly, SCE and CEE only demonstrate a positive and significant influence during the Covid-19.
