Abstract

Farmers in the East Belitang II OKU area still have not received satisfactory yields. The many types of rice seeds make farmers confused in choosing quality rice seeds. Decision Support Systems (DSS) have become an important tool in various fields to assist decision making. In this study, two DSS methods, namely the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) were used to determine the relative weight of the criteria used in selecting superior rice seeds. After getting the relative weight of the criteria. Then the Weighted Product (WP) method is used to calculate the suitability score of superior rice seeds so as to provide accurate and effective results in helping farmers in the East Belitang II OKU Region. The result of the level of accuracy obtained from these two methods is 86.6%.
