Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of RGEC ( Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning and Capital ) on the potential occurrence of financial distress for the Islamic Bank in Indonesia in the 2018-2022 period. The dependent variables in this study is financial distress and independent variables are ratios in the RGEC health assessment including NPF, FDR, GCG, ROA, ROE, BOPO, NIM and CAR. The results of this study indicate that NPF, FDR, GCG and CAR have a positive effect and are not significant while ROA, ROE, NIM and BOPO have an insignificant effect on the probability of the occurrence of financial distress of the Islamic Bank in Indonesia in the 2018-2022 period.
