Abstract

This research examines the "HIMASOS FISIP UNSRI Cabinet Gema Dedication Social Movement as a Form of Concern for Society". The purpose of this research is to determine the process of implementing social movements and the impact they have on social movements carried out by the Sociology Student Association, FISIP, Sriwijaya University. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study strategy, while the number of informants in the research was 12 people who were determined using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. This research was analyzed using resource mobilization theory from Anthonny Oberschall. The results of this research refer to the process of implementing social movement programs, as well as the impacts caused by social movement programs. In the process of implementing the program there were several obstacles such as implementation time, finances, Covid-19, activity permits, and transportation. And the impacts that arise consist of the impact on society and the impact on the organization itself.
