Abstract
To apply the buildidg stmcture and the roof with wide length, Steel structure is in fact a very economical material. This Steel has a big resistance towards damages which are caused by variety of dynamically-moving loads. In planning the structure, the writer took the example of futsal building’s roof stmcture. The profile which was used is the element needs taking into account, the strength of steel determines whether or not the element possible to bear the loads. The variation of roof s stmcture designs determines the material which is going to be used. Later on, all designs that have been counted would result in the volume comparison, ratio, and technical value economically from applied to common roof design, and pipe because both profile ; IWF profile which profile which was applied to the two and three dimension curve roof design with was 45 meters in length. From the result of the calculation have been done, the first until the twelfth designs have their own strength and weakness from several aspect which were being investigated. In the other words, they b e considered as the economical material depending on the needs.
