Abstract

Coal processing in the company taking data produces abundant fine coal. Fine coal will be disposed and distributed to the company's tailings dump. This research was conducted to estimate the amount of fine coal dumped into dump 1 tailings in the form of volume and tonnes using M9 river surveyor equipment made by SonTek. The calculation of volume fine coal which is disposed into failing dump 1 is 79,922.91 m3, while for tonnage fine coal which is disposed into tailings dump 1 is 70,971.54 tons. The results of the calculation of the volume of fine coal that has formed the land is equal to 9,065,194 m3, while the results of the calculation of tonnage fine coal that has formed the land is equal to 8,049,892.27 tons. Based on the results of these calculations, the amount of fine coal that has been wasted into dump 1 and fine coal tailings that have formed land can be said to be abundant.
