Abstract
Data collection on identity and temperature is usually not carried out, although it is still carried out using the manual method which requires a relatively longer time. With the use of QR Code technology which can store data in the form of name text, which will speed up data collection on automatic body temperature measuring devices. This study focuses on the application of the QR Code system that is used to scan a person's identity. The QR Code system used is based on the ESP32 microcontroller and is integrated with the camera module. The scan results are in the form of text data in the form of the user's name. And temperature data obtained from the MLX90614 temperature sensor through serial communication between Arduino Uno and Esp32. Information on identity data and temperature data that has been obtained is stored in a MySQL database via WiFi (internet). Thus the data obtained from the QR Code and body temperature can be seen easily by device users on the website of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University.
