Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Equalization Funds, Capital Expenditure, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the Human Development Index (HDI) of districts/cities in the West Java Province. The study utilizes secondary data sourced from the Directorate General of Treasury of the West Java Province and the Central Bureau of Statistics of the West Java Province. The analytical technique employed in this research is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method. The Human Development Index of districts/cities in the West Java Province serves as the dependent variable, while the independent variables include Equalization Funds, Capital Expenditure, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The results of this study indicate that Fiscal Equalization Funds have a positive and significant influence on the Human Development Index of districts/cities in the West Java Province. Capital Expenditure does not have a significant influence on the Human Development Index of districts/cities in the West Java Province, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) has a positive and significant influence on the Human Development Index of districts/cities in the West Java Province.
