Abstract

This research entitled "Development of Learning Media Using Multimedia Prezi on Historical Subjects in High School". The problem raised is how to develop valid historical learning media. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid Prezi media and to see the impact of the effectiveness of Prezi learning media. This study uses a type of research development. The prevalence and media were assessed through the evaluation of three experts namely the design of learning, materials experts, and media experts. The results of the evaluation with the design expert learning got a value of 4.50, material experts with a value of 4.00 and a media expert with a value of 4.11. The results of the validity of the experts (expert) to get the average value of 4.20 entered in the category is very valid. The potential impact of historical learning media is evident from the results of field tests conducted at the State Junior High School 3 Tanjung Raja with the average pre test value of 49.45 which belongs to the low category and get an increase in value after post test with a mean of 86.21. This shows that the learning media of history for class X High School is declared valid and effective for learners.
