Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul Makna Berbelanja Online Melalui Media Sosial Instagram Pada Mahasiswa Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana mahasiswa dan mahasiswi di Universitas Sriwijaya dalam memaknai belanja online di instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang menggambarkan data deskriptif fenomena yang diteliti dengan unit analisis mahasiswa dan mahasiswi. Dalam penentuan informan menggunakan purposive dengan tujuan mendapatkan informasi mengenai situasi dan kondisi yang lebih mendetail sesuai dengan permasalahan penelitian. Strategi penelitian yang digunakan adalah strategi fenomenologi dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah makna gaya hidup (life Style), fashion dan kekinian (Trendy).
