Abstract
Latar Belakang: Prosedur insisi dapat menyebabkan luka yang dapat sembuh melalui proses penyembuhan yang terdiri dari 4 fase berurutan. Cangkang telur bebek merupakan sumber kalsium dan protein. Pemanfaatan cangkang telur bebek merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan jumlah fibroblas dan mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka. Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak cangkang telur bebek konsentrasi 5% terhadap jumlah sel fibroblas pada penyembuhan luka tikus Wistar (Rattus norvegicus). Metode: Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimental secara in vivo dengan rancangan Post Test Control Group Design untuk mengetahui efektivitas aplikasi topical ekstrak cangkang telur bebek terhadap jumlah fibroblas pada penyembuhan luka tikus Wistar (Rattus norvegicus). Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas dalam meningkatkan jumlah fibroblas pada pemberian ekstrak cangkang telur bebek. Hasil uji Post Hoc Pairwise Comparison menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan pada kelompok perlakuan pemberian ekstrak cangkang telur bebek selama 3, 5, dan 7 hari. Kesimpulan: Pemberian gel ekstrak cangkang telur bebek (Anas platyrhynchos domesticus) 5% memiliki efektivitas yang signifikan terhadap kenaikan jumlah fibroblas pada luka tikus Wistar (Rattus norvegicus). Background: Incision procedures can cause wounds that can heal through a healing process in four phases. Duck eggshells are a source of calcium and protein. Utilizing duck eggshells is one way to increase the number of fibroblast and speed up the wound healing process. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of 5% concentration of duck eggshell extract on the number of fibroblast in healing Wistar rat (Rattus norvegicus) wounds. Method: The type of research carried out was in vivo experimental research with a Post Test Control Group Design to determine the effectiveness of topical application of duck eggshell extract on the number of fibroblasts in Wistar rat (Rattus norvegicus) wound healing. Results: Based on the results of the Kruskal-Wallis test, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness in increasing the number of fibroblasts when administering duck egg shell extract. The results of the Post Hoc Pairwise Comparison test showed that there were significant differences in the treatment groups given duck egg shell extract for 3, 5 and 7 days. Conclusion: Administration of duck eggshell extract gel (Anas platyrhynchos domesticus) 5% has significant effectiveness in increasing the number of fibroblasts in Wistar rat (Rattus norvegicus) wounds.
