Abstract

This research focuses on finding out the role played by Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli in running the free food car program in Palembang. This research aims to measure the extent of the contribution made by Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli in carrying out the free food car program in Palembang City. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The theory used is the role theory of David Berry (Wirutomo, 1981). The research results show that Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli plays a role in sharing free food with people in need and building social networks both with other organizations and with people who receive benefits from the free food car program. The supporting factors for Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli in running the free food car program are having sufficient human resources, permanent donors, collaboration, adequate equipment, and cooperative beneficiaries. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are insufficient funds and uncertain weather. Keywords: Role, Sinerg Sriwijaya Peduli, Free Food Car
