Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer of chicory waste (Brassica chinensis L.) on the growth of capri beans (Pisum sativum L.) and to determine the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer. The method used is an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replicates. The treatments consisted of P0 (0%), P1 (60%), P2 (70%), P3 (80%), and P4 (90%). The results of the study were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with Duncan's Real Distance Test. The 80% concentration is the best treatment in the parameters of the number of seeds in pods 9.6, number of leaves 40, number of pods 4.6, number of flowers 4.6, number of branches 26, flower emergence time 29 days, wet weight of capri bean seeds 1.9 g, and dry weight of capri bean seeds 0.8 g. Based on these results, it can be concluded that liquid organic fertilizer of chicory waste has a very significant effect on the growth of capri bean plants. The results of this study can be utilized as a source of information for high school Biology learning class XII KD 3.1. Growth and development material contributed in the form of learning tools (Syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD).
