Abstract

Biomass conversion from fruit Markisa have done with fermentation process. fermentation process in this study have used 'ragi roti' and 'ragi tape'. markisa fruit that has high carbohydrate, protein, and vitamin. there are some factor which is influence the fermentation process, the type of microorganism, fermentation time,degree of acidity, temperature condition, sugar rate and concentration of yeast.result showed that the highest yeast of ethanol was28.79%. the highest yeast of ethanol reached on the fifth day fermentation as much 6 gram.
