Abstract

Rice is a food crop as a source of energy and carbohydrates for the body. Subsidy fertilizer is an important input in increasing food crop production, especially rice so that its existence and utilization have a strategic position. The objectives of this study are: 1) Describe the realization of subsidized fertilizer distribution to rice farmers in Marga Mulya Village, 2) Describe the impact of subsidized fertilizer use on rice productivity, production costs, and income of rice farmers in Marga Mulya Village, 3) Identify factors that influence rice farmers in Marga Mulya Village to use subsidized fertilizer. The method used in this study is a survey method with interviews and questionnaires using Simple random sampling techniques. The data processing methods used are descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are: 1) The realization of subsidized fertilizers to rice farmers in Marga Mulya Village is that rice farmers get 75 percent of the RDKK that has been submitted. Farmers get subsidized fertilizer assistance for 1 hectare of paddy fields as much as 200 kg of NPK fertilizer and 100 kg of Urea fertilizer, 2) It was found that 86 percent of rice farmers perceive that the use of subsidized fertilizer has no impact on rice productivity. Meanwhile, it was found that 92 percent of rice farmers perceive that the use of subsidized fertilizers has an impact on production costs and income of rice farmers in Marga Mulya Village, 3) There are two variables that have a significant effect on factors that influence rice farmers to use subsidized fertilizers, namely land area and income. While the other two factors, namely education and experience, did not have a significant effect
