Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Pseudomonas fluorescens mengendalikan JAP yang duhubungkan dengan waktu pengaplikasian Pseudomonas fluorescens di tanaman karet. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, dengan menggunakan masing-masing 2 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan isolat Pseudomonas flourescens dalam menekan keparahan penyakit akar putih dalam penelitian ini masih rendah karena faktor lingkungan. Keparahan akar putih setelah inokulasi JAP isolat Pseudomonas flourescens adalah 13-22 % yaitu perlakuan B (14 hari sebelum inokulasi JAP). Sedangkan pada pertumbuhan tanaman, semua perlakuan tidak berbeda nyata dibanding dibanding kontrol. Tidak terjadi nekrosis akar, dan kolonisasi rizomorf di atas permukaan tanah dan di tanah tidak berbeda nyata dari hasil sidik ragamnya. Kata kunci : bakteri antagonis, penyakit jamur, tanaman karet
