Abstract

Megah Ria market is a shopping place textile base material that has been around a long time. Located at Rustam Effendi Street which is a trade and Service area.This market is quite popular among the people of Palembang City, known as a center of textile raw material commodities and Services tailor. However, this is not in line with the condition of the buildings and facilities are adequate. Function of this region is associated with Draft Raperda RTRWK Palembang 2011-2031 which the region is planned for mall development that is directed to the development of trade and tourism shopping. This thesis entitled Planning and Designing Markets Megah Ria is a manifestation of the building function to be optimized with a more representative look and is expected to open positive economic development for the community.
