Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Fitopatologi Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya dari bulan Oktober 2011 sampai Februari 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh hambatan dan mengamati interaksi hifa yang berkaitan dengan mekanisme beberapa jamur antagonis seperti Trichoderma sp., Aspergillus sp., dan Penicillium sp. terhadap perkembangan C. gloeosporioides patogen penyakit gugur daun Colletotrichum secara in vitro. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Adapun perlakuan perlakuan meliputi Trichoderma sp. (A), Aspergillus sp. (B), dan Penicilium sp. (C). Persentase hambatan terhadap pertumbuhan koloni jamur patogen pada perlakuan yang diujikan berkisar antara 54,6-70,29%. Jamur A, B dan C tidak memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata. Hasil uji antagonis menunjukkan bahwa antagonis Trichoderma sp. memiliki kemampuan yang sangat baik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan patogen jamur C. gloeosporioides jika dibandingkan dengan kedua jamur antagonis lainnya.
