Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan satu kontrol dan di ulang 6 kali yaitu kontrol, serbuk adas, serbuk rimpang jahe merah, serbuk rimpang kencur dan serbuk daun pandan wangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian serbuk rimpang jahe merah mempunyai efek repelensi (penolakan) terhadap imago S. oryzae dengan nilai indeks repelensi tertinggi yaitu sebesar 0,65 yang tergolong repelensi kuat terhadap S. oryzae dan terendah pada serbuk pandan wangi dengan nilai indeks repelensi 0,31 yang tergolong repelensi lemah. Untuk perlakuan serbuk rimpang kencur nilai indeks repelensi yaitu sebesar 0,44 yang tergolong repelensi sedang, perlakuan serbuk adas dengan nilai indeks repelensi sebesar 0,33 yang tergolong repelensi lemah. Perlakuan serbuk rimpang jahe merah dapat menekan populasi S. oryzae hingga 78,33 ekor, persentase serangan 36,28% dan persentase susut bobot 13,23%.
