Abstract
Technological advances at this time are growing very rapidly and will continue to develop along with advances in the fields of education and technology and every new innovation created can have a good impact and also benefits for human life. Especially with the internet of things that makes it easy for us to control and monitor a certain area or object remotely with the internet. Smart farming, also known as precision agriculture, is a technology-based smart farming method that provides measurable and integrated data in managing agricultural processes so that productivity can be optimised. In other words, it can be said that smart farming is the concept of transforming conventional agriculture into modern agriculture by applying the concept of internet of things in it. In the application of IoT technology, it generally uses a microcontroller as a translation of commands into the programming language to complete a command. The microcontroller that is often used in IoT projects is Arduino, Arduino is often utilised and has been widely used ranging from agriculture, health, animal husbandry, security, and vehicles.
