Abstract
The discussion in this study is about solving optimization problems in determining the optimal location of emergency rooms in Palembang City by utilizing the two methods used in decision making, namely the TOPSIS method and MABAC in the SCP model. TOPSIS and MABAC methods are used for decision making based on certain criteria. There are seven criteria used in this study including the distance owned from each sub-district and the time used to get to the emergency room, the category of the hospital, the number of general practitioners, midwives and pharmacies in the hospital and the price of public transportation to the hospital emergency room from each sub-district. The results obtained in this study are recommendations for several optimal hospital emergency room locations that can be visited by the community from each sub-district based on the seven criteria that have been determined using the TOPSIS and MABAC methods. From these results, RK Charitas Hospital is the hospital that is the most optimal emergency room location.
