Abstract

Nilai flexibility adalah kemampuan memberikan jawaban menggunakan bermacam-macam cara dengan melihat berbagai sudut pandang dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Pembelajaran dengan Model Problem Based Learning adalah salah satu solusi untuk memunculkan nilai flexibility tersebut karena model ini menggunakan masalah kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai flexibility yang muncul pada materi SPLDV di kelas VIII dengan Model Problem Based Learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.B di SMP Srijaya Negara Palembang sebanyak 23 siswa dengan pemilihan sampel melalui purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 3 siswa yang terdiri dari 1 siswa kategori tinggi, 1 siswa kategori sedang, dan 1 siswa kategori rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan wawancara lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dapat memunculkan Nilai flexibility pada materi SPLDV yang dominan muncul pada Siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi dan sedang. Sedangkan untuk siswa berkemampuan rendah, indikator dari nilai flexibility belum muncul. Kata Kunci: Nilai flexibility, Model Problem Based Learning, SPLDV.
