Abstract

Pabrik Metakrolein direncanakan berlokasi di Kota Semarang, Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 5,2 Ha dengan kapasitas 80.000 ton per tahun. Proses pembuatan Metakrolein dilakukan dengan mereaksikan Propionaldehid dan Formaldehid melalui proses kondensasi Propionaldehid dan Formaldehid dengan bantuan katalis Dimetil Amina dan Asam Asetat yang berlangsung di reaktor tipe Multitubular Reaktor pada temperatur 122,8oC dan tekanan 36atm dengan reaksi sebagai berikut: C3H6O + CH2O (Asam Asetat)/(Dimetil Amina) C4H6O + H2O Propionaldehid Formaldehid Metakrolein Air Setelah melalui tahap purifikasi, dilakukan tahap pemisahan untuk memisahkan Metakrolein dan Air, sehingga diperoleh Metakrolein dalam bentuk liquid dengan kemurnian 99,90%wt. Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan jumlah karyawan 124 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik Isopropil Benzena dinyatakan layak untuk didirikan dengan analisa ekonomi sebagai berikut: Investasi = US $ 165.092.499,92 Hasil penjualan per tahun = US $ 641.358.690,12 /tahun Biaya produksi per tahun = US $ 444.149.616,60 Laba bersih per tahun = US $ 136.883.616,52 Pay Out Time = 2 tahun Rate of Return on Investment = 55,37% Discounted Cash Flow - ROR = 89,95% Break Even Point = 33,7905% Service Life = 11 tahun
