Abstract
The purpose of research is measuring the level of social status and technological adoption storey farmer's of rice field of O.Mangunhaijo village,^and also relation of between social status of farmer's with the technological adoption is effort farmer of rice field of O.Mangunhaijo village. This study was conducted in O.Mangunhaijo Village of Regency of Musi Rawas at April 2007 to group of farmer Tirtoyoso. Method used is case study method. Withdrawal method the example of to use the census method. Example of i taken by as much 20 farmer follow the example of the. Data obtained a field is hereinafter process tabulation and continued with the Test Correlation of Spearman and than also analysed descriptively. Result of field research indicate that the social status of farmer follow the example of to have the mean score equal to 2,09 with the moderate criterion, seen from technological adoption obtained score flatten of equal to 2,8 with the high criterion. Pursuant to calculation Test The Correlation Spearman concluded that there are positive correlation or relation between social status of farmer with the technological absorbtion rice of rice field, where higher social status of farmer so more higher technological adoption rice of rice field.
