Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan lintasan belajar pecahan yang dapat mengkonstruksi kemampuan argumentasi siswa kelas V SD dengan menggunakan konteks Kayuagung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain berjenis studi validasi yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu pendahuluan (preliminary), desain eksperimen (the design experiment) yang terdiri dari pilot teaching dan teaching experiment, dan analisis retrospektif (retrospective analysis) dalam rangka memberi kontribusi terhadap teori pembelajaran lokal (Local Intructional Theory) untuk mendukung siswa berargumentasi dalam materi pecahan. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi hasil pengerjaan LKPD, tes tertulis, dan wawancara. HLT (Hypothetical Learning Trajectory) yang telah dirancang kemudian dibandingkan dengan Actual Teaching Trajectory siswa selama pembelajaran pada tahap pilot teaching dan teaching experiment. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dihasilkan sebuah lintasan belajar pecahan yang terdiri dari empat aktivitas, yaitu: (1) memahami makna pecahan melalui konteks menakar bahan utama resep bolu cupu, (2) memahami makna pecahan senilai melalui konteks membandingkan takaran susu pada resep bolu sepulut, (3) memahami penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut sama melalui konteks mencampur bahan es orson, dan (4) memahami perkalian bilangan asli dengan pecahan melalui konteks menakar takaran gula untuk sejumlah bolu cupu. Analisis retrospektif terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan konteks Kayuagung dapat mengkonstruksi kemampuan argumentasi siswa. Siswa telah dapat berargumentasi menggunakan pola argumentasi data, claim, reasoning, evidence, dan rebuttal.
