Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) to meansure quality of farming cooperation foundation, (2) to meansure members participations in economical activites, (3) to analize the relationship between quality of farming cooperation foundation and the members participation in economical activity in North Indralaya Subdistrict Ogan Ilir Regency. The data collected in field on April 2008 in North Indralaya Subdistrict Ogan Ilir Regency. The sampling method it used in this research is by surveying method to members of farming cooperations Taruna Tani, Jaya Makmur and KTM Trans with the number of sampling of 30 person. Analysis about quality o f farming cooperation foundation and the members participation in economical activity in North Indralaya Subdistrict Ogan Ilir Regency which is conducted by tabulation of score by 3 categories they are the high, the middle and the low. The relationship between quality o f farming cooperation foundation and the members participation in economical activities which is analised by using the Spearman Correlation Level. To know the relationship between quality of farming cooperation foundation and the members participation in economical activities by explaining descriptive analysis. The result of the research shows that quality of cooperation foundation with high criteria by scoring 51,73 (score range 49,01 - 63,00) in motivating the members in every activities and lurolves the members ini every decisions. Participation of members in economical activity with middle criteria with the score of 17,17 (score range 49,01 - 63,00), where the members obey every rule that that had being ratified and played a part actively with their own conscious in every activities in every activities in the cooperative. In other side, with Spearman Correlation Level Test in relation to the income is by rs calculation it is 0,4694 in significan with a = 0,05 (rs(0,05 = 0,3059), is the rs calculations is culculated ffom the high rs tablc'. We can conclude that result was rejected Ho. It means that there was positif correlation between quality of farming cooperative foundation and members participation in economical activities in North Indralaya Subdistrict Ogan Ilir Regency.
