Abstract

The study aimed to identify antibacterial activity of humped bladderword (Utricularia gibba) and concentration minimum process of inhibition activity with multistage extraction utilizing swamp plants as a natural antibacterial. The research was conducted on October 2017 until Desember 2017. This research uses laboratory experimental methods and data analysis was done descriptive. The parameters observed testing phytochemical compounds flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, fenols and steroids analyzed qualitatively and testing of tannis and phenol by quantitative analysis. Antibacterial analysis and use of the discus and measuring doses of the Minimum Inhibitor Concentration. The yield of extracts with solvent n-hexane, ethyl acetate and ethanol 70% respectively of 3.7566 g (0.50%), 12.4945 g (1.66%), 24.5801 g (3.27%). Quantitative testing of tannis from the extract bladderwords respectively of 215.12 ppm of the extract nhexane, 221.86 ppm of the extract ethyl acetate dan 225.70 ppm of the extract ethanol 70% and testing of fhenol levels respectively of 108 ppm of the extract nhexana, 122 ppm of the extract etyl acetate and phenol levels 152 ppm of the extract ethanol 70%. The antebacterial activity indicate that the extract bladderword can inhibit the same bacterial Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella thypimurium, and Escerichia coli. Inhibition zone formed in the solvent nhexsane, ethyl acetate and ethanol extract 70% with a concentration level of 500 ppm, 1.000 ppm, 1.500 ppm and 2.000 ppm with an average of inhibitory zone is highest at 2.000 ppm using an ethyl acetate solvent. MIC determination result ethyl acetate extract started to inhibit bacteria Bacillus subtilis and Salmonella thypimurium at a concentration of 15 mg/ml and inhibition bacteria Escerichia coli at a concentration of 20 mg/ml.
