Abstract

This research aims to prove the influence of organizational activity on the creative thinking abilities of students in the Sriwijaya University Economic Education Study Program. This type of research is descriptive with quantitative methods using questionnaire and test data collection techniques. The research sample for Sriwijaya University's Economic Education Study Program students was 26 students taken from a population of 87 students using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of students who were actively involved and had positions in the organization. Of the 26 students, 9 students (34.61%) were active in organizations and 17 students (65.39%) were very active in organizations. The hypothesis in this study was calculated partially, namely the t-test, based on the results of the t-test calculations, the tcount was greater than ttable (2.042 > 1.711) with a significance level of 0.05, which means that there is an influence of organizational activity on the creative thinking abilities of program students. Sriwijaya University Economic Education Study. This means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The importance of researching the influence of organizational activity on students' creative thinking abilities in the Sriwijaya University Economic Education Study Program so that students can understand the importance of self-development in organizations to train students' creative thinking abilities. The suggestions in this research are that students are more expressive and confident in developing themselves in the organization, good at expressing opinions, conveying constructive criticism and suggestions so that they can train students' creative thinking abilities.
